Cookie Settings

1. Your Current Choice
Change what you allow at any time. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off, because the site cannot keep you signed in or protect your forms without them.
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies Yoshuko uses, and how to control them. It supplements the Privacy Policy.
1. What these are
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. We also use closely related technologies — local storage, session storage and pixel-free server-side logging — and this policy covers all of them.
2. What we use, and why
| Category | What it does | Can you refuse it? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in, remembers your workspace, protects forms against cross-site request forgery, balances load, and enforces rate limits. | No — the Service cannot work without them, and they are exempt from consent requirements. |
| Preferences | Remembers choices you have made: language, time zone, theme, whether a panel was open, whether you have dismissed a notice. | Yes. Refusing means those choices are not remembered between visits. |
| Performance and diagnostics | Aggregated measurements of errors, page timing and feature use, so we can find faults and see what is slow. | Yes. |
| Advertising / cross-site tracking | None. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not permit third-party advertising trackers on the Service. | Not applicable. |
3. Third-party cookies
A small number of cookies are set by providers we use to deliver the Service — our payment processor sets cookies on its own checkout pages for fraud prevention, and our hosting provider may set a cookie to route your requests consistently. These are set for operational purposes, not for advertising. Our providers are listed at Subprocessors.
4. How to control them
- In the Service: use the cookie banner or the cookie settings link where one is shown, to accept or refuse everything but the strictly necessary category. You can change your choice at any time by the same route.
- In your browser: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, and offers a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal. We honour a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of sale and sharing — which we do not do in any case.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or using most of the Service.
5. Changes
We update this policy when the technologies we use change. The version and effective date are shown at the top of this page.
